Jeramie Posted February 13, 2006 Report Share Posted February 13, 2006 Ok gang, im not the strongest Christian in the world and Ill admit it! Regardless of how I fall, my wife and I are so blessed! I recently got a job I wanted and turned in my two weeks notice. My wife just got an offer too! The post office contacted her and offered her $18 an hour plus a HUGE benifit package to work in a NE Oklahoma Post office! She is considering the job and praying for a transfer if she takes it. The drive would be about an hour and 15 minutes. The drive has me seriously concerned but she is still thinking about it. Her pay would literally double (she works part time right now). We could pay stuff off so fast it would be amazing! We have to pray and give it serious consideration because I really dont want her driving distance in bad conditions but this again is Oklahoma, those conditions are few and far between. She is talking to some friends that work at the local office to see what the chances for transfer, etc. are. If there is a good chance she can transfer or if she wont get fired for missing work due to weather she really wants the job. Our income would see an astounding change! The good and the bad seems to almost come in waves. Just be sure to be as positive when the jobs start to wear on you and the cars get old quickly because of the extra driving.
