GWSmith
Re: Finally.... I think the real benefit of them being Reflective is in the early Morning or late Afternoon...when the sun is not a factor anyways. Besides...the sun is above me during the day...the vanes are reflective...not refractive Now I can wait to get out of my treestand until all the deer(hopefull aint I...LOL) have left the area instead of rushing to get down and spook any deer just so I dont lose an arrow. As far as How I did this with a straight clamp using superglue gel: I made sure the front of the vane was down when applying pressue to the clamp...that was my priority..then I released the clamp after 15 seconds. The main part of the vane bottom was also attached very well. The back of the vane was actually lifting off the arrow shaft a slight bit. I just added very little pressure holding the vane body and pressed down the back without touching the glue and held it for a couple seconds...Done. I had arrows that were fletched just like this before and they flew great from my bow setup. They seemed to be alot more "Wind Resistant" than my straight fletched arrows were. VTbowman
Re: Finally.... I will tell you one thing for sure. You will NOT be sorry you are using reflective wraps. They are awesome and I will not hunt without reflective ever. They have found me deer and /or lost arrows on several occasions. They will look sweet with orange on them too. Nice bro!
