Some stuff I made

Since I got on the subject of woodworking earlier, I wanted to show off some of the things I have made over the last few years. These are by far not everything, just the ones I had easy access to pics of.

This is the wood that I used to make the hope chest below it...(unstained at the time of the pic - stained to match the wood trim in my house now)

This is a Harley Davidson rocker I made. Except for the dowel stock and the walnut frame, every single piece of wood on this rocker was cut and sawn from lumber on my hunting land.

This is a crib that I made for my children before they were born. They both used it until they grew out of it. It is made out of oak. I didn't put the covers on the bed for the picture as you can see.. blush.gifgrin.gif

Here is the picture of the matching cradle they both slept in...also made out of oak. It is full of my daughters stuffed animals now as she uses it as a toy cradle for her babies, but this is an actual full size cradle they both used.

Map of the United States that holds all of the US State quarters both Philidelphia mint and Denver mint. This map was made ENTIRELY out of scrap wood I had lying around in my basement. I bought NOTHING (other than the plexiglass) to make this. I also made the sign with my son's name on it that hangs below it.

This is a Chippendale mirror I made for my daughters birthday. Again, this was made from scrap lumber that I had in the basement. Wood that was actually in a box for the wood stove!

Hope you all like them! Any other woodworkers out there??

Still say that I need one of those US quarter maps.... grin.gifgrin.gif

Just had to come back and sneak another look at your awsome work Ken...... wink.gif

Every one of those states in the map were scrollsawed apart. That little line line you see between each state is a saw line, not a marker line. I made it for my sons birthday.
