Swamphunter
I am thinking about getting GT's 55-75's. I have always used PSE Carbon Force Dominators, is there a difference for hunting do you think?
hoyt_hunter
Re: Getting new arrows tomorrow! i have shot the gold tips but not the pse's. the gold tips shoot very well, as well do the dominators im sure. but at +-.003 in the XT Hunter and +_.001 in Pro the gold tips have an obvious advantage. Chrud
Re: Getting new arrows tomorrow! I shot Dominators for about a month or so while I was waiting on some other arrows. I now shoot Gold Tip Pro Hunters. The Dom's are +/-0.006" and not sure on the weight. The GT Pro's are +/-0.001" and +/-0.5 grains. I couldn't get the Doms to shoot broadheads nearly as good as my GT Pro's do. You might not see much of a difference with fieldpoints, but you will with broadheads. Assuming you go with the GT Pro's, your arrows will be within 0.002" and 1 grain. The Dom's can vary by 0.012" and probably 4 grains. Guest adamc
Re: Getting new arrows tomorrow! I shoot gold tip 55/75's and love them. Last year at a shoot we had, my brother in law had some PSE arrows. Not sure what the exact name was. But i could put his arrow in my bow(we shoot the same draw length) and hit almost the exact same spot as my goldtips. So with the ones he shot and my goldtips there wasn't much of a difference. VermontHunter
Re: Getting new arrows tomorrow! Ken, my father was shooting the PSE Radials until I bought him a dozen GT 5575's... The GT's just seemed to fly better for some reason, even tho the tolerences were suppose to be the same... Good Luck with the GT's, you should be very happy with them... Master_Chief
Re: Getting new arrows tomorrow! I have been shooting GT 5575 for a couple years and have never had a problem. However I know of a several deer, 2 foxes, a groundhog and a squirrel that will tell you (If they could) that they don't like 'em.
Swamphunter
Re: Getting new arrows tomorrow! Dang it! I went to the pro shop with money burning ahole in my pocket for GT's and he tells me he is all sold out of the 5575's! He said it is one of the fastest selling arrows he has and he expects an order in early next week. Oh well, gives me some time to ponder over them! VermontHunter
Re: Getting new arrows tomorrow! Swampy,, checkout KeystoneCountryStore they have some great prices, if you don't want to wait... Their shipping is unbelievably fast also, I don't think I've waited longer than 3 days for a order from them...
