Jeramie
We have a woman that works here named Ronda. She does all the payroll, insurance, etc. This woman can talk gray hair on your head. I went down to talk to her about my first paycheck and stuff. I walked in her office at 1:30 and I literally just got back to my desk. The actual business took 10 minutes. I now know her life story. My back is dead, I was standing up most of the time trying to slip out her door. As I was walking out the main receptionist said, "I sure hope you werent in a hurry!" She then quitely mouthed, "Let that be a lesson to you!" Some people can Taaaaalllllllllkkkkkkk. She out talked me and thats saying a mouth full. Rhino
Re: Ahhhh the pain..... Geeeezzzz heramie! Sounds like you went through the company's new employee indoctrination. You need to go back to the receptionist and ask her if there's anything else you need to be forwarned about. It sucks learning things like that the hard way. dogdoc
Re: Ahhhh the pain..... I've got clients like that--I pre-warn my techs to rescue me from the exam room in 10 minutes.
Bruce Schmeck
Re: Ahhhh the pain..... Who are you trying to kid?? You enjoyed being able to goof off all afternoon, the only reason you're complaining now is because you couldn't get back on Realtree forums sooner! buckee
Re: Ahhhh the pain..... My wife and I have a friend like that. When we visit, one of us always has to make up an excuse to get going, just so we can leave. It's really hard to do. Sometimes I'll just prolong the agony while my wife keeps giving me the "HELP ME" look. I just smile and shake my head..LOL

okbowman
Re: Ahhhh the pain..... You should be a pastor and have to fight with your wife when certain people(talkers you can never get off the phone with) call!!

Tominator
Re: Ahhhh the pain..... We have a parent at our school like that. She has 3 kids, and they all do very well in school, but she continually signs up for conferences. She does not get cheated out of her time for sure. What I do (and you're free to borrow this) is either set my timer on my phone, or have a colleague page me via the computer or phone when the 15 minutes is up, then I politely say "whoa, there's my next appointment, I've got to go make a phone call. It was nice seeing you again...."
