Mud Wrestling huh? thats a good idea, i like your thinking on that one lol. There has actually been a couple geese landing on the island, i threw out 4 of my duck decoys to try and attract some ducks too. Im not sure if we are puttin trout in there or not. We talked about it, i know we are puttin largemouth, smallmouth, bluegill, perch, crappie, catfish. i might try and talk my dad into puttin trout in there. When the pond gets "full" there is only gonna be about 2 ft of the island out of water. I put my waders on and took some corn out to the island for the geese and ducks, since we just plan on watching them and not hunting it. I am also in the middle of making 5 wood duck boxes i can put out there, every spring i always kick up some wood ducks on our creek while walking around. Fish give off ammonia and to many fish in a pond cause the ammonia level in the water to be to high and will stunt the fish's growth.
