Re: new job

Most never find or get it, most start a job, then a family, and stay, salary goes up, even if most dislike their job, then they can't or won't quit or move on. I believe most of us are afraid to make a change or try something new for fear of failure.

I'm 53 and still waiting frown.gif

Thank goodness I was working while I waited grin.gif

[/ QUOTE ]

That's what first came to my mind as well. But to be honest, I actually really enjoy my job...working with computers, technology, and people. cool.gif I'm sure there are alot of other things out there that might be a "dream" job but I don't see any of those happening anytime soon. grin.gif

Re: new job

Found my first at the age of 29, stayed there 8 years. had to leave when the baby came for better insurance and being close to home. Worked at a job that I didn't really like for 2 years, prayed everyday for another one to come along. A friend offered me a sales position with his company one day in Church, asked what I needed to come work for him. Who says God doesn't listen, been here year and a half and I'm loving it.

Re: new job

[ QUOTE ]

I just make my wife work harder....

[/ QUOTE ]

Guess that is kind of a perk of putting a spouse through school to get them into a good career of their choice. After the birth of our newest daughter and some bad dealings with the employer my wife and I both had worked for, I recently left work to stay home with the kids and deal with the farm. Daycare for three is too expensive to pay half of what you make, especially not knowing how good of care they are really taking of your children. Will go back to work or school when our youngest gets into school.

btw, good luck in your search.
