Selling diecast?

Re: Selling diecast?

You could try selling them at a sports card/die cast show that is in your area. Some dealers will make deals with you although they are more apt to make a trade than pay you what the price guides say they are worth. I have quite a few myself, some have gotten up there in price the last few years. As far as eBay goes, the problem with that is that unless you set a reserve price, which costs extra, you could be stuck selling a die cast worth 50 bucks to someone for 5 bucks because that's all that was bid on it. About the only way you could make a return on your investment or make a little extra would be to sell them yourself at a show, set up your own table and everything, that way you charge what you feel is fair and you won't be stuck selling to someone who will pay you half what they are worth who will gladly turn around and sell it back to you for double what they bought it off of you for.

Hey Iowa what are you trying to unload a fleet of those yellow and black Fords? Replace them with a couple Chevys. Orange ones. LOL. grin.gifgrin.gifgrin.gif

Actually I just moved in a brand new Jack Rousch owners series Ford, Matt Kenseth 2003 Victory lap champion, autographed by MK himself! grin.gif

Good luck with your sales.
