What bag target do you have?

Looking for another new target. This time I'm going to build a stand for it to keep it off the ground, plus I think it will help it last longer since it will give a little on impact.

I'm leaning towards a Yellow Jacket. Big and reasonably priced ($40).

Or should I look into something else. Money is a factor....stinkin' college bills..... tongue.gif

Re: What bag target do you have?

Ryan, I'd look into the Morrell Outdoor Range target.

It's a little pricier(80-90 last time I checked) but it will pay off in the future.

This target will stand up to a lot of shooting, trust me. I bought mine last year and I try to keep it out of the weather and I believe it will last me at least 2 more years.

So depending upon your financial situation, I recommend shelling out the extra 30-40 now instead of having to purchase another bag next year or the year after. If you shoot as much as I think you do, you will have to buy another next year...grin.gif

if you want a broadhead target, gt a Yellow Jacket. but if you want a good bag target, get a Delta Deadstop Quad. it is amazing, ive had mine for 3 years ... i shoot every day, and its still holding up ... i have to rotate the tartet frequently, but i havent had a passthru yet with that target. i love it!

Re: What bag target do you have?

Ryan i won a Delta Deadstop pro bag target a couple of years ago . its works great and if i was to get another it would be one like this. i has 9 dots on both sides so that you can spread the shooting out over the whole face of it .

it has a nice carrying handle and to loops on the sides to hang it if you had a frame for it. i just put 5 old arrow behind it and stand it up .

I think I just figured the key to a good target....

You need several spots, for one. (Not just your typical 5-spot per side)

And second is a HANDLE!! I used to carry mine into the garage, but it was such a pain to carry, I gave up after a few weeks.

Thanks Tony, I'll check into that one as well. If you've had it a couple years, I know it would last me at least that long.... wink.gif
