BowtechTurkeyHunter (Steve) and rifleman25 is going to be attending a fund raiser for Dakota and his family on May 12th also, to present the family with any money we can raise.

It's times like this that can be a real strain on a family in so many, many ways. Lets see what we can do do ease the burden and lessen the load....eh

Everyone has been so wonderful on here, with there offers of gun loans, financial offers, etc, etc, etc, it's just overwhelming, and I'm honoured to be a part of it.

We've pretty well made the cake, now lets get the icing on it.

Steve (bowtechturkeyhunter) already delivered a nice get-well card signed on behalf of all those who donated a few bucks for the cause and presented Dakota (gobblerbane) with some get-well gifts. A gift card to Bass Pro shops for $50, a RT turkey hunting DVD, a Team Realtree hat and a T-shirt( "Got Elk").

Steve is just now getting some mail coming in, so anything left over will go in the pot for Dakota

Steve Beilgard: is providing a personally fully guided Elk hunt for Dakota, through HOAL (Hunt Of A Lifetime) and has done so much more at his end.

Brian (rifleman25) and his producer, were able to round up a savage/ Stevens model 200 chambered in the late Jack O' Connors favourite, .270 win donated by Savage. Also a set of Stoney point sticks from Brian's producer.

Brian has also offered to have the scope mounted and get it bore sighted, etc. (scope on the way )

David Blanton has donated one of his own personal scopes (Nikon BRA 40140, 3-9X40, HD Camo NikoPlex, Team Realtree Camo Scope.)

Tim Andrus (teamrlthunter) is donating some camo clothing, etc since Dakota is a growing boy and is going to need it.

Williams Custom calls - Alex has donated a Custom exoctic call to Dakota

HOAL (Hunt of a Lifetime) will provide: THE TAXIDERMY, for a maximum of 2 animals-shoulder mount, if Dakota achieves a harvest. They will also supply him with Clothing. They will also supply Dakota and ONE companion: AIRFARE, LODGING, MEALS, SHIPPING OF GAME (YOUTH'S) & RENTAL CAR (if needed) as well as any other expenses that would be incurred in helping their dream become become a reality.

Reloader (James) - Double Barrel Shooters Supply in Missouri Valley IA (just outside Omaha) will be donating the scope Bases and Rings

** - Since hunt of a lifetime is only paying for Dakota plus one guest, lets get enough together so his Mom can go and be there when her son full-fills his dream. That would definitely top everything off. (thanks for the idea steve)
