Nut Posted April 24, 2006 Report Share Posted April 24, 2006 Well TurkeyEye(Codie) took breaking a leg serious. He killed his 1st turkey Saturday morning and then promptly broke something in his ankle at camp before pics were taken. Track season and Turkey Season is over for him. The bird weighed 19 1/2 lbs. Nut...Codie can still turkey hunt on crutches if he's up to it. I did it back in the 1987 spring turkey season with a broken right femur. Just takes a little longer to get where you want to go.
