Re: Ricky and the WEED!

ESPN reported that it wasn't weed this time--HMM. The boys moving up to the stronger stuff??? Too bad--the man has so much talent and the Dolphins said he was the perfect team mate last year--never late and worked really hard. Really sad to have an addiction that bad to let it ruin your career.

Now if baseball would do the same thing to Bonds!!!!

[/ QUOTE ]

To my Knowledge Bonds has Never Failed a drug test. The stuff he was using years ago was legal to use back then, Today it is illegal so we can not hold that against him.

[/ QUOTE ]

No, that was Mark McGuire. What Bonds used was HGH or Human Growth Hormones that cannot be detected by any tests used by MLB currently. They are illegal....period.

Well, that's all still theory at this point. Bonds never has failed a test so we don't know for sure what he took.

I think what he was referring too was the fact that up until recently a lot of the stuff guys were taking was not tested for by MLB and therefore not necessarily illegal in the game of baseball, but obviously illegal according to law...which does not make alot of sense but then again we are talking about a Bud Selig run organization. smirk.gif

Reports are that it wasn't an illegal substance, but the NFL didn't know what showed up on his test so they failed him and denied his appeal. He put himself there, but the NFL is wrong on this one.

Heard the same thing a while back. Just goes to show, once you have the reputation, you are assumed to be guilty. So much talent wasted. confused.gifconfused.gifconfused.gif

Re: Ricky and the WEED!

If they tested for illegal performance enhancers then all the sports programs would be like watching a high school game. Even in college you can get by with testing. You think that football games you watch are all clean clear cut games. HHmmmmmmm.......nope. I also think that they should pick on Bonds just for the reason he is breaking records. If it comes down to that then yes he should either be suspended or ineligible for the record. If Pete Rose is not allowed in the hall of fame for acts he did AFTER his baseball career then why should Bonds be allowed for things he's done while playing ball??
