Seasons are broken up into 6 day time periods(seasons) and two 7 day seasons. People here apply from different time periods and zones. Basicly the same system in WI as well. Spreads out the pressure and limits number of birds taken in each zone based on bird population. Do I like it? No, but it's the way it is here. We have a fall seaon, it's the month of September, again 1 bird limit. We get 1 tag a year in Michigan and 7 days to fill it if you get one of the first three hunts. Then the last hunt is only 2 weeks! The last 3 years I've filld my tags on opening day.
