SuperMn106
Well yesterday while golfing i dropped my putter on the ground and head came off. On the next hole i holed out from 100 yards for eagle. finished with a 87. I played 11 holes putting with wedge . Well today i run to the local golf shop to get me a new putter. I end up gettin an Odyssey 2 ball putter. When i get back out to my truck i notice a big puddle of brake fluid by my back tire. I looked and seen my brake line just dangling. So me being young and naive and not wanting to pay for a wrecker, nurse it 12 miles back to my house. When i get home i take a closer look. My shock where it connects to the axle broke off, and they previous owen had the brake line clipped to the shock. well when the shock broke it tore the brake line. So now tommorow i have to pull it in the garage and grind down the previous spots and weld the shock back on the axle and replace the brake line.. Just when I was seriously contemplating selling it too. I think it just pulled the short straw on me. When i get it fixed it goes up for sale. Thanks for lettin me rant. I fell a little better now. SuperMn106
Re: Just my Luck thanks guys, woke up this morning and decided to try and fix my truck. we couldnt get the 220 welder to work so we went with the 110. welded the bracket back on the axle and i jumped up and down on the back of truck and it didnt come off. so hopefulyl it is a good hold. went and got a brake line and put it on and bled the brakes and she is back in working condition so far. cost me $10. Thanks finn, on the front nine i shot a 40. back was a 47 with 5. 3 putts with my wedge. My putter is a 35 inch DFX 2 ball. hopefully i can get used to it before my tournament saturday. i have hit it through the house on the carpet and it feels good
Mirage
Re: Just my Luck Hey superman I would not weld on a shock absorber It could explode!!! probably why the other owner had it clipped and not welded
SuperMn106
Re: Just my Luck Mirage, he had the brake line clipped to the underside of the shock. im not sure what you mean by the shock absorber. The bracket broke off the axle, it looked like it had been welded before.
