My wife informed me we were out of microwave popcorn! This is UNCALLED FOR!! Off to the store we go and bought a case! WHEW!!! Now I am set for tonight and several more nights! Can't believe it's considered antique, but I guess so. Seems like microwave is the only kind nowadays. Anyway............ It looks like a wagon train. You pour the corn and oil in it's base then put the cover on. You put the pats of butter on top of the vent and it melts down on top of the corn as it's popping. When it's done, you flip it over and the cover holds all the corn. The smell was GREAT. ( Microwave popcorn aroma can get me sick sometimes) But I have to admit, the corn was nowhere near as light and crunchy as microwave popcorn. Kids thought it was neat though.
