Shawn
Sorry guys and gals if you thought i was talking about a child. Yall might remember my post of abby at 3 weeks old. Well now shes over 10 weeks old and just about 20 lbs. She wasnt a happy camper gettin a bath and neither was i, consinder i got elected by my girlfriend to be the one holding her still in the tub. i think i got more water on me than her. I can only imagine what it will be like when shes full grwon and at least 80 lbs or more. she kinda looks a little ticked off in the pic. stevebeilgard
Re: Bath Time was not fun well, when she's full grown and 80 lbs, then you'll have 10 times the troubel washing her. then, she'll go out and roll in something smelly, to "refresh" herself. lots of fun. lol
BowJoe
Re: Bath Time was not fun Dogs sometimes get to like it. I don't know of any but some do.

M00N
Re: Bath Time was not fun I know how that is. Our first German Shepherd, that I grew up with, didn't like a bath and she was an oversized German Shepherd that ended up being 110lbs when full grown. Try getting a 110lb dog to stay in a tub for a bath. More like we got a bath instead of her. lol Perhaps try clicker training the dog to like getting in the tub, then once it learns that train it to like getting in the tub with water, and once it learns that finally train it to get in the tub with water and be washed. It's a long process, but might be worth it, for when the dog is full grown, to have it not fight about it so much with you and to enjoy a bath. It's what we did with our current German Shepherd. Used a clicker and chopped hotdogs as treats. Was a couple month long training process, but now at 90lbs we're happy we took the time. She sometimes will whine about a bath or try to sneak off when you're not looking, but for the most part she's learned to not jump around and be a maniac about a bath. She still will roll in the grass after a bath though. Can't really stop that, its dog instinct. lol
