MCH Posted May 29, 2006 Report Share Posted May 29, 2006 Hutchies and I went to an ASA Qualifier in Paris. Here's a few pics: This first one is special.. On about the fourth target, I "disabled" one of Hutchies arrows. Notice the nock missing on the one with the wrap? The off center X was just under his arrow. Almost knocked me out of the 10 ring. We shot with a great couple of guys, Kelley and Chris, from Fort Worth. They're members of the Cowtown Archery Club. This was one of many good groups. Here's Hutchies in all his glory, glassing the target. For his first shoot of the year, the boy did real good. I was proud.. Here's one of the targets. I think it was a 27 yard Hyena. The weather cooperated for half of it, but then the heat took over. The course was difficult but enjoyable. Hutch getting ready to shoot and Chris glassing the target. I believe this was Hutchies last attempt at "disabling" one of my arrows. He slapped em a couple of times but never did any damage. And he shot behind me every 3 out of 4 targets. Tony Posted May 29, 2006 Report Share Posted May 29, 2006 Re: Paris ASA Qualifier pics everybody has a shot at me this year. all of you guys are good shots. i just had a really good shoot last year. the first year i only got dan by one point on the last target. 2nd year ryan took me out by a few points. last year ryan didnt shot his best and we had some lolly gaggers hanging around in the range finder class. i always approach this as a fun day to shoot and fun just watching you guys talk smack.. nice shooting guys. and some great pics. im off to shoot another 3d this morning. that will make 3 this long weekend. That is only the 2nd 3d course I have ever shot and the 1st I ever shot without a rangefinder. For unknown yardage I walked away a happy man. Don't let MCH lie to ya though.
