MCH
You baseball fans should keep an eye on this kid. The Dodgers called him up during the Braves series. First game, 3 strike outs. Figured the kid would implode from then on. Then he goes 4 for his next 7. Then last night while playing the Phillies he hits his first home run. A 3 run shot that hits the left field foul pole. He's gonna be a star. He won MVP in last years Arizona Fall League(where all the top minor leaguers go). The Dodgers have 6 rookies that could be everyday players right now. Kemp, Andre Ethier, Wily Aybar, Takashi Saito, Russell Martin and Joel Guzman(called up last night). And Chad Billingsley will make his debut this month....hopefully. If we don't win this year, at least our future looks bright.

They're the team that is tops in the NL in Batting Average, Runs Scored, Stolen Bases and OBP. The mighty Bucos have 6 of their 9 starters batting over .300 and the NL leader in batting average, Mr. Freddy Sanchez. Not to mention the Player of the Month award that will soon be awarded to Jason Bay.

Thats why some of Nomars numbers are higher. Like I said the first time, this is not a 4 or 5 game fluke. He has the highest BA of anybody in the entire league since Sept. 1st of last year. Listen better next time. Oh yeah, when you are doing your All Star voting you better be voting for him every time........and Bay.

Highest batting average since Sept. 1st?? Nomar's batting over .400 in the 6-9 innings and he's batting over .500 against left handers in the 6-9 innings. Does that matter?? NO!
