bigbearguy
I am new to this trail cam thing, so new I have yet to purchase one, but plan on it in the next few weeks. I don't want to spend a lot of money on something that could get stolen or destroyed by a bear. I was looking at cabelas and found this camera . It seemed like a pretty good price to me. Any other suggestions in the $150 range? Any suggestions on keeping the bears from destroying them? Thanks for any help.
LifeNRA
Re: Trail Cam Suggestions Nice cam for that price! Let us see the pics when you get some! Maybe spray the tree and parts of the cam with some scent killer type spray, not the front of the cam though! Take no food into the area as well. While your at it use the scent killer on yourself! Sorry I cant offer anything else!
WIwhitetailhunter
Re: Trail Cam Suggestions Check out the Sportsman's Guide. They have a Guide Gear digital camera for around $150. I've picked up one and it works great! I have found nothing that would deter me from buying another from them.

wtnhunt
Re: Trail Cam Suggestions Get a bear proof box. I kind of like the leaf river digitals. You might want to check with ktmmike, think he can get pretty good deals on cuddeback and leaf river cams.
