Trail Cam Suggestions

I am new to this trail cam thing, so new I have yet to purchase one, but plan on it in the next few weeks. I don't want to spend a lot of money on something that could get stolen or destroyed by a bear. I was looking at cabelas and found this camera . It seemed like a pretty good price to me. Any other suggestions in the $150 range? Any suggestions on keeping the bears from destroying them?

Thanks for any help.

Re: Trail Cam Suggestions

Nice cam for that price! Let us see the pics when you get some! Maybe spray the tree and parts of the cam with some scent killer type spray, not the front of the cam though! Take no food into the area as well. While your at it use the scent killer on yourself! Sorry I cant offer anything else!

Re: Trail Cam Suggestions

hey that looks like a great deal on a scouting camera

4.1 mega pixel for 150 bucks \, looks good but i dont know much about those cameras, they make a bear box for my cuddeback so im sure you could make one for your camera you buy or take it to a fabrication shop im sure they could make something for it, i dont have bear problems where i use my cameras so im not real sure but sent killer would be a must im sure
