sasksheds Posted June 12, 2006 Report Share Posted June 12, 2006 Well a few years ago I went on a fly in fishing trip to Lake Athabasca in Northern Saskatchewan.I had been up there once before as well as gone on other fly in trips.My last time up there I came home with pics & video of 20+lb pike & 40+lb Lake Trout.Lots of Arctic Grayling pics etc... Well Mrs.Sasksheds couldnt take it.She put her foot down & said I wasnt going again unless I took her.We have wanted to go the last couple of years but couldnt make it work.This year I talked to a freind that lives up there & he offered us his boat & motor plus a company truck to get into the lake.There is a new airline that flies up there.We can fly up for around 135$ same coming home per person.The 2 of us can do the round trip for under 600$ So in less than 2 weeks we will be packed & on our way.We will basically be fishing the farthest north in Saskatchewan you can go until you hit the NWT.WE cant wait.I will take lots of pics. & my promise of taking her on a fly in trip will finally be complete!
