mikeo2
"On Saturday May 6 APOS hosted a Waterfowl Seminar in Edmonton. Representatives from SRD, AF&G Association, Bird Outfitters, Enforcement and the Public at Large were present. How to preserve and protect our Alberta Waterfowl Hunting Heritage was discussed and a five year plan was roughed out. This process is only in its beginning stages, but we hope to have a working document by the end of the Calendar year. Some interesting announcements have been made by SRD. The 2006 Waterfowl Season in most of the Peace River country will move to Sunday hunting. We are hopeful that this is part of a plan to move Sunday hunting southward in small increments over the next five years. The limit for Whitefront geese has been reduced to three per day for non-resident aliens and will remain at five for residents. This year, non-resident aliens will have the opportunity to purchase successive six day licenses throughout the season. Next year Alberta will move to one six day license only for non-resident alien bird hunters. You will need to plan ahead for next years bookings. It appears that our collective voices have been heard and as a province we are moving forward in addressing those concerns."

too_pointer
Re: Hunt Alberta - This may affect you So, whitefront geese are different than snow geese ? We don't get them here in Mi. I see on tv hunts that the snow geese are usually no limit too_
