Re: Blisters

Change up your shoes. They probably arent fitting correctly (loose at the ends). An athletic shoe should really support the foot. If youre getting a lot of movement thats probably the problem.

Make sure you have a pair of good socks too. Dont wear really fluffy socks or they will allow your foot to slide around.

If the problem continues, you may have to tape the areas that get the blisters. As far as the pain, I would tape the one that already popped. That should help.

Re: Blisters

Bust'em open is about the only thing I can think of. Two things you can do to prevent this, wear moleskin where they rub, OR, and don't laugh, try panty hose, or whatever the ankle type are. They will allow your shoes to slide, without rubbing your feet causing blisters. I know when I was in the Army and we had a long ruck march coming up, that was one thing our Ex-Infantry squad leader would recommend.

You just got new cleats, right? Did you break them in good before wearing them?

Re: Blisters

If you're man enough to take it, pop the blisters and spray Tuff Skin under the loose skin. Hurts like blazes for the first few minutes, but after that you'll never notice the blister again.

I had blisters when I played sports. Ended up buying shoes 1/2 size too large and wearing 2 pairs of socks. That worked great for me.

Re: Blisters

What kind of cleats are you wearing? I had a pair of Kelmes that seemed to rub more than my pair of F-50's. I think that it depends a lot on the shoe, and the size, I always get my cleats a half size to small for touch and to prevent rubbing. But thats just me. Tuff skin would be best guess
