Swamphunter Posted June 23, 2006 Report Share Posted June 23, 2006 I ma in hurry up and wait mode now...I placed my new Cuddeback out for the first time (with a bit of help from Billkay ), and now I am waiting for a few weeks to go by. My question is...how long is it safe to assume those 4 D-cells will last. They are brand new industrial strength Energizers. I mean Cuddeback advertises 6 months in warm weather, but somehow I doubt it. How long before you think I should go back out there and get the pics and replace the batteries...? ( ours got stolen after about 2 months of use) I was thinking during that time we never did replace the batteries. I am sure 6 month may be a bit of a stretch but you never know. I swap cards on our leaf river about every 3 or 4 days. Depending on how much activity I am seeing my batteries might last 2-3 months. But i have never had them last longer then 5 weeks in all my cuddebacks. It looks like you got that camera too high. But it just might be the picture looks that way.
