johnf
Re: scrape drippers I put one too low once. A couple weeks later I found it about 40 yards away compltetly destroid. At the end of the season there was a 3' scrape under the spot where the dripper hung. Put it higher than you think you need to.
Tominator
Re: scrape drippers Too much hassle for me. On top of that, it announces your spot to every tresspasser in the county.
buckee
Re: scrape drippers I've had some luck with them. I also tried mixing vanilla and doe pee once, just to see what would happen. It only lasted one night and got torn down and ripped apart by a bear. He chewed through the plastic bottle real good and sucked out every drop...LOL Baiting bears is illegal here...otherwise, I think I'd know what to use if it wasn't
wtnhunt
Re: scrape drippers Have had pretty good results with them used with active scrape just prior to the rut. Last season I hung one at the field edge between some good trails coming into our food plots. Ended up with several real scrapes worked nearby as well as the deer taking over the scrape under the dripper.
AdvantageTimberLou
Re: scrape drippers I had some good luck with them, deer were never spooked and the does were always checking it out and smelling around it. Works for about 5 days too and that helps when you can't get to your spot right away. I see Dick's Sporting Goods sometimes clearances them out for around $5.00 so they are worth a try at that price.
