007hunter
Well, I am now officially a fan of drop away rests. I fianlly got my trophy taker all set up tonight. Took it to my bow shop and was all set up in a half hour. I got home and took a few shots and it works GREAT! Barely even had to move my sights too! Within 5 minutes I was shooting groups smaller than my fist! I would have taken some pics but it was getting dark.

hutchies
Re: Another fan of.... I was a naysayer as well for years. Once I tried one it was all over. Don't know that I could go back to a prong or containment rest. Drop aways are so easy to tune.

mike
Re: Another fan of.... too many mechanical parts!!!!! too much room for a mechanical failure.. if you can't group with a stationary close enough its not your rests fault.you'll cuss it when it goes south

[/ QUOTE ] Same here Shot prong style rests for years then went to the biscuit and wore a low left grove in it. The prong styl the springs always end up wearing out in them and they don't stick all the way up. Don't knock a fall away til you try one. The TT is one of the simplest on the market. The concept is solid and works for millions of shooters daily.
