Covehnter
Anyone w/ any experience using the MiniBlaster 3 and Hammerhead 3L? Pros and Cons. Do both flight like field tips? Appreciate any input.
Gator
Re: Opinions on Rocket Aeroheads If memory serves me correctly, these are a mechanical, right? If so, they SHOULD fly just like your FP's. I ahve shot two different mech heads, and both flew just like my FP's. As far as effectiveness, I don't know about that, as I haven't shot them. But I am also not a big fan of mechanicals either.......
hutchies
Re: Opinions on Rocket Aeroheads Do a search for them. I played around with lightening my setup for a while and asked the same questions on here.
rossman
Re: Opinions on Rocket Aeroheads Yes, they do fly like field points. I used to use the wolverinve and the steelheads. They fly perfectly!!!! I had great luck with them on the first six deer I killed. But my last two deer I shot, I never recovered. My shots were not bad and I definatually hit vitals. The blades seem dull out of the box. I switched to the grim reapers after I lost the last two deer. I just lost confidence in them. later--rossman

Guest UltraTec360
Re: Opinions on Rocket Aeroheads Excellent heads. Yes, they fly like darts, and cut like a sword! Very good indeed.
VTbowman
Re: Opinions on Rocket Aeroheads Yes I used the Rocket SideWinder and the 125Extreme steel head when I shot compounds and they are super tough and super accurate. At least they were for me. Its all I used and never once had a failure or lost animal I shot with them.. I wish my recurve produced enough MO and KE for me to still use them... Guest silver
Re: Opinions on Rocket Aeroheads I have used Rocket for 4 years now. The only thing you need to be careful with is the lenght of the threads. They are less threads on the Steelheads and the Ultimate Steel than other brands. I just fletched a new dozen arrows and the heads will not touch the threads on my inserts. The pro shop said they never heard of any problems with this but he was convinced when I showed him. I have to switch heads or get more arrows with diffent inserts. You will never have any issues with preformance. Great heads.
Covehnter
Re: Opinions on Rocket Aeroheads What type of arrows were you using them with and do you know if the hammerhead and mini blaster use the same thread as those you've tried? I would guess that all the heads threaded the same.
