AvonLKHunter
I have always used Thunderhead 125's and this year I was going to try the new Spitfires. Any comments would be great. Should I shoot field tips to practice for the spitfires, or do they fly like the thunderheads? Thanks for any help. JIM
Guest HaDeRonDa
Re: ANYONE EVER SHOOT SPITFIRE XP?? I would bet that they fly like NAP says. Field tips that is. I'd donate a spitfire to your practice session just to give you that extra confidence in the equipment. That is what I did with the "avg." spitfire. and love the way they perform. Widowmaker
Re: ANYONE EVER SHOOT SPITFIRE XP?? I shoot the normal spitfires and they are great. Fly just like a field tip.
Mach1
Re: ANYONE EVER SHOOT SPITFIRE XP?? I shoot the regular Spitfire 125s and love em. Fly exactly like my field points.
Guest BIGGene56
Re: ANYONE EVER SHOOT SPITFIRE XP?? Hey there, I have used them and i love them. JUST AS LONG AS YOU ARE SHOOTING A FAST BOW. You hear horror stories about them not opening. that is because someone is shooting at 50#. If your shooting at 60# or better you will love them. Last year I put one into a big doe and broke both front shoulders. Need I say more.
Guest bowhunter56
Re: ANYONE EVER SHOOT SPITFIRE XP?? just make sure you have 55#or better of kinetic energy, less than that you may have some opening problems.
