DU_man_84 Posted July 16, 2006 Report Share Posted July 16, 2006 Re: first time duck hunter yep like CBU said scouting has a lot to do with, sounds like youll be running around with a boat blind, so you should be able to hunt where the ducks are, match your surroundings best you can, like doc said, dont over call, knowing how and when to call can make your hunt, but if you dont know when to call can really hurt your hunt, if the ducks arent working your spread, change it up, from calling softer to changing your spread, listen to the ducks they will tell you what they want to hear, also remember have the wind at your backs, ducks land into the wind, ill post more when i think of them Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
