Of the Bowtech's I have shot (all but the Ole Glory) I like the Tribute and the Tomcat the best. I would give the Tomcat plenty of thought. Even with the smooth mods, it is over 300 IBO (and bowtechs stay closer to their IBO's than most) and has an extreamly forgiving brace height. What draw length and poundage would you be shooting? Any desire to ever have a bow with 80 lb limbs? If you are a long draw you might want to look into a little longer AtoA to avoid having as much string pinch. I shot 30 in and any bow under 33 inches AtoA I feel uncomfortable with. Congrats on the great shooting and new bow on the way I would be lying if I said I wasnt jelious, bowtechs are sweet! That being said, the Tribute is a SAWEEET little bow, definitely their best offering to date. I know of a few people that shoot an allegiance and have seen and heard only good on these bows... Honestly, I've shot alot of the new bows this year and must say that this sweet little baby is the smoothest shooting bow I've ever had the pleasure of letting an arrow fly through. My whole family shoots Bow-Tech the youngest is 8 and he shoots the rascal and it is just the quickest little thing. Matter of fact he shot his first buck with a bow with it last year and it was totaly cool, a day I will never forget. And I realy like the whole company they seem to have good morels and ethics. With the smooth mod this bow is reported to be one real user friendly bow. A very forgiving and reasonably fast set up. If I was looking for a new BowTech, I certainly be testing that one. With these mods the bow is still smooth as butter. This bow is definetly user friendly and has allowed me to shoot better than I have ever shot before, the robinhooded arrows are hanging on the wall at the shop. All I need is someone else to tell me how awesome the Old Glory is. Notice he says split arrowS plural. I've come to the conclusion this bow is the sleeper shooter in Bowtech's offering. It's destined to be a classic. Note: I've never met Buckmagnet, I didn't even know if anyone on the board had an Old Glory. But I keep hearing the same story from those who do.
