Purina.

My wife and I watched a show talking about dog food (and cat food). When you read the ingredients, the first ingredient is what makes up the bulk of the food.

If it starts out with "Corn" thats the bulk of it. If it starts out with Lamb, thats the bulk of it, etc...

Re: Dog Owners

Eukanuba is about thebest, have had dogs we had to feed it to get them recovered and healthy. Our collie mix currently gets the cheap stuff from wal mart, and she is very healthy. Used to feed our old dog only purina dog food, she was on purina senior feed for a good while before we eventually had to have her put down.

Our dog is an outside free-ranging dog. But he never goes more than a mile from home. My mom would have a fit he if he came inside.

Purina One Pro Plan. We have 3 boxers that are notorious for joint problems and Purina one has Glucosimine in it.

Mark,

Boxers are also prone to tumors and cancer so please keep a close eye on that. Its just part of the breed. We lost a boxer at 3 years old to cancer about 4 years ago. Just had a small tumor removed off our 2 1/2 year old.

Got to love the boxers though, only a face a mother can love! grin.gif
