GWSmith
I figured that I could get a wealth of Input on these questions if I placed them in front of the RT Family. I have to ask because I have Zero experience with any of these: 1.) DVD Camcorder – Medium price range that can record a room for a function or party (medium to small room) etc; possibly other uses also. Don’t know much about these! 2.) IPOD – Medium price range too. Just going to use for walking and hopefully one day jogging. Also, where is the best site to download music for IPOD’S? I’ve never used these before. 3.) Do you know any Websites’ to order discount DVD’s online? Not just old DVD but new releases!

toddyboman
Re: 3 Questions from my Brother The IPOD shuffle is the cheapest on out there, around $70. You upload the music to the "shuffle" then listen. You can skip forwards and backwards through songs. However you have to do this one at a time. With the shuffle you are not able to seperate songs by genre and then select that genere to listen to. This can be done with all the other Ipods, but not the shuffle. OH Yeah... Apple and Nike have Hooked up to present this... Nike has made a chip to put in the bottom of some of their shoes. Apple has that Ipod Nano, you hook a transmitter into your Nano. THat transmitter interacts with the chip in your shoe to tell you how far you have ran, how fast and what not, while you listen to your tunes. Oh course when you get home you can hook your Nano back up to your computer to track your data. REALLLY COOOL!!! Nano cost about $150 bucks and the chip from Nike is like $30 or $40. Of course you have to have the shoe too and its around $100. All the other Ipods have a lot more bells and whistles and cost a lot more. I Hope this helps. GWSmith
Re: 3 Questions from my Brother Thank You Todd I sent my brother the link to this post shortly after making it. BowJoe
Re: 3 Questions from my Brother http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4725824 This is probably going to be your best bet as far as compatability. You want something easy to use and multi format in case of some other kind of format needing to be used. High optical focus and a medium price is not bad either. Personally I like the Mini DV recorders but that's just me.
wtnhunt
Re: 3 Questions from my Brother Gary, for your dvd camcorder check butterfly photo, they have great prices and a great selection. I went with a sony. I was going to go with a dvd, but some of the members on here talked me into a mini dv camcorder, so I went with the dcr-hc96. Rhino
Re: 3 Questions from my Brother Another option for the DVD camcorder is to check BestBuy. Their prices are usually pretty good. Can't say much about a IPod GW. Don't own one and never fiddled with one either.

RangerClay
Re: 3 Questions from my Brother I cannot answer the first two but I have an answer for number 3. Go to Amazon.com to order dvd's. I like them because I can buy new or used and most of it comes with free shipping. Ranger
