AJ
Re: encore qs I take it you mean a ramrod? You can get a Power Rod from Cabelas.

tedicast
Re: encore qs I know exactly what you are talking about. I have one, but I can't find one anywhere online now.
257bob
Re: encore qs I have used the TC brand one and the one in Cabelas is identical. We cut our rod down so that the handle would fit flush with the barrel. Another lesson from experience, make sure it folds flat. I shot at a coyote and the bullet ripped off the handle. I wasn't paying attention (be advised).
tedicast
Re: encore qs I just looked through cabelas, bass pro, midsouth, and midway's websites, and none of them list it. I wentto TC's site, and they don't show it as an accesory anymore either. I guess it was discontinued. I either bought mine at Walmart, or on eBay, I can't remember now. VTbowman
Re: encore qs Geesh I got mine when I bought my 209x50 pistol. Glad I did as it is a hard thing to find. Good Tip about cutting down the ram rod too. I may look into doing that.
Hoyt03
Re: encore qs I had the hardest time finding one of those. They are the T/C power handle. Its black and screws onto the ramrod then pivots out to use as a T handle then folds under so it can stay on the rod while stored under your barrel. Bass pro and cabelas and all those stores do not carry this. I had found a site awhile ago that had them on their website but of course were on back order. Heres how i got mine: Walked into a small little gun shop here in town(yesterday) to get the guy to bore sight a scope for me, he had a section of T/C stuff. Sure enough he had 1 on the wall, I picked it up for 9.95$. Talk about lucky, I had just about given up on them. He only had 1 on the shelf but may of had others in the back. If you want I can check in with him and if he has another I'll get it for ya and you can just buy it from me. Let me know b/c I know how hard these things are to find. Go to google.com and type in Thompson center power handle, see what you can find.
too_pointer
Re: encore qs I also have had one for years, and they work great. I put a rubber band around the handle and barrel so it stays put . too_
Hoyt03
Re: encore qs I was looking into this for ya and looks like T/C discontinued this item for some reason. All the online stores I was looking at are out of stock and dont plan to get anymore in. Your best bet is to go to a small shop somewhere and see if they have any. Let me know if you want me to check into where I got mine yesterday, looks like it might be tough to find one of these at the moment.
