archerjg
Re: pretty ticked about this Sorry to hear about the problems that you are having with this principal. I had similar problems until I was home schooled. Because of my allergies and asthma and the poor maintenance of the school systems here there was no way I could be in the school. I was leaving school everyday with an asthma attack and even with all my meds it would be two to three hours before I could get the attack stopped. The principals were real pains and even threatened to have me expelled and they threatened my parents. It got bad and the school board finally got involved. Lots of arguing and finally someone at the school board got a brain and put me in a new program where they had to provide the school work and the teacher to get me through school. You should not let this go and make the principal apologize in writing with the superintendent there with you and your wife to make sure that he does. He has no excuse for what he did. Good luck with whatever you decide. Archerjg
wtnhunt
Re: pretty ticked about this-(updated) [ QUOTE ] All of this just to get a child the education they justly deserve.... Sounds like someone at that school is a very brave individule on the phone.... I wonder just how brave he would be in person,,, [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, I met with the principal yesterday afternoon after picking up my 5 year old. Showed him the map, and showed our tax records, which they had to make copies of the one the secretary somehow neglected to make a copy of the right tax record the first time around when we were in the office about a month ago. Got it all straightened out. Face to face with me he was not at all rude, but he did come off as a bit scattered and frustrated with over this district stuff and was really kind of goofy.
