buffett1 Posted August 9, 2006 Report Share Posted August 9, 2006 While I was at the local pro shop today getting set up with some new arrows I found that when I would release tension on the bow string the arrow kept falling out/off of the rest. GWSmith Posted August 10, 2006 Report Share Posted August 10, 2006 Re: Silly Question Sounds like a Nock thats too tight...what would kick it off your arrow rest is when the string rotates and it's showing up in what happens to the arrow. I've had brand new Nocks do that but it stops happening shortly after they have been shot awhile. Try changing Nocks and if thats not an option right now take one Nock and use very fine sand paper folded up on the inside where the bowstring goes....see what happens then. If it stops kicking the arrow off, or the problem becomes less, then you've found the problem area. Is there a chance your Bow string has been served where your arrow Nock goes on the string??? Does it "Snap" on the string somewhat loudly or is it somewhat hard to push on the string??? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
