Kinda like the "old days" when you recored a show on your VCR and then you would just bust the tab out on the tape so it couldn't be recorded over.....

Sure makes sense on the SD card.....I guess I don't know if mine has that or not.....

Got an older media stick for the the sony trail cam i am building that has a little slide switch to lock it right below the terminals.

Like said abobve, would check for a lock switch. If not there, might check the properties and see if you didnt maybe somehow accidentally protect the files currently on the card.

Yep. Find the little sliding "switch" (possibly on the upper left side), and you should be able to unlock it.
