When my 10 year old daughter told her daddy she wanted to be a deer hunter I think he was more proud then than he was the day she was born. It is important to pass on the love of hunting to your children and keep the spirit going. Just wait till you buy his first gun.... It will be a moment you'll never forget. She killed her first deer last year at 9. Now she is 10, and she has her own rifle a browning a bolt micro hunter in .243 that I bought her for Christmas. She is pretty bound and determined to kill a better buck than last years with her own rifle this year. Going to try to get my 5 year old out more this year.
