I was wondering if anyone would be interested in send a card to this lady on behalf of the Realtree Forum members. Maybe letting her know that we care and are praying and grieving with her, may make her feel just a bit better. It would show that hunters are a bunch of caring individuals. We could mail it all over the country to each other, sign it and then forward it to her. I can't imagine the effect it would have when she realized what it was. What do you guys think? I think it's a wonderful idea, however, some of us got together and did the same thing for our good friend Tominator and it took forever to get not very many signatures on it. We were hoping for many more, but the clock was a tickin by. What would be faster and more effective is if we had a whole bunch of volunteers to send out a nice card and fill the card with member names from here, with no repeats on each card. We could put everyones real name aka and where they are from, so the family knows we have felt their pain internationally. We could have a sign-up post where everyone just gives their name, city, state/province and the card-volunteers can take say a group of 10 or 20 names , place them on the card, along with their own and send it along to Her. You could probably have somebody post a sign up list at the top of the lounge, and have every one sign up till a certain date. Then have somebody make a list of everybody, and just have the first person on the list send it to the next, and then to the next, and so on. Once we figure out who the card senders will be, just PM them the information. That will keep everyone happy and safe too. I'll start a sign up list and depending on how many sign up, it will tell us how many volunteer card senders we'll need. How do we find out the address of the woman who lost her husband and son ??? ideas:: We could always send it to the newspaper of that town and have them forward it on or the police department, or the DNR dept in their home town. (is that what you meant Steve?) as far as the widow, maybe the local paper lists obituaries? sending along to a local newspaper or church is a good idea too. let's go folks.
