[/ QUOTE ] Mathews did the engraving before sending it to the pro shop. I ordered it that way... I am sure you could get a local engraver to do something like it... Guest wildotter
Re: XT holding a XT....!!! [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] The arrows seem to make alot more noise than the bows and the blazers seem alot quieter than regular vanes. [/ QUOTE ] Based on my experiences shooting blazers I agree with this assessment. Agreed on both points. I feel the blazer are more quiet then the regular vanes. VTbowman
Re: XT holding a XT....!!! [ QUOTE ] Also how do you like that G5 Sight? [/ QUOTE ] So far I love it. Pins are bright, the sight seems to be solid and well made and the fine tuning design is pretty cool and real precise. I like the design of the way you can add a light too. It screws into the top of the houseing to shine directly on the ends of the fibers however all the light is contained inside the housing so it can not be seen from the outside. The harmonic dampener is a great feature too on any mathews bow IMHO. LOL Lets not forget the exact match of RT camo to my XT.
Shaun_300
Re: XT holding a XT....!!! Bow shops are very hard to come by up here, when I was in Wisconsin this summer, Martin (Oneida man) got me into shooting bows, and I was instantly addicted. A few days later he took me to a bow shop in Ashland and I took the "XT Challenge". Tryed it against a Hoyt Tricon, both nice bows, but I absolutely fell in love with that XT, I was very impressed the way it shot, how smooth it was, the let-off, the list goes on and on! I wanted to buy one but didn't have the cash in my pocket at the time. Next time I go down I have a feeling I'll be coming home with one. Here's a pic of me shooting it. Guest bucknutt
Re: XT holding a XT....!!! [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Arrow "whistle" is what freaks a deer out not your bow. [/ QUOTE ] Now there's a concept I bet many never consider,, I sure didn't... [/ QUOTE ] shooting the other day i had an arrow that had a little nick out of one fletching, and another arrow that the fletchings were worn and a little 'wavy', standing off to the side you wouldnt' believe the difference in the way these arrows hollared compared to the others.
