Jeramie Posted September 12, 2006 Report Share Posted September 12, 2006 My wife and i havent done anything alone since last November, literally. I decided to surprise her and take her out Saturday. She had no idea, its going to be a total surprise from the moment we get in the van. I decided to take her to The Tulsa Performing Arts Center for a show. She loves the Broadway stuff. I had already called my In-laws and set up the baby sitter. I then Call the TPAC to see what was in town.... Imagine how I felt as I handed over $80+ for two tickets to "Cats." I'm going to Walmart at lunch for a couple of hunting magazines and a reading light.... Oh well, im taking her to eat at PF Chang's before the show and looking for her some new ear rings this week (she lost and ear ring that she loved). At least something good is comming out of this... Bow season starts October 1st im planning ahead. My theory is if they hang onto the negative memories forever perhaps they hang onto the good ones too. Ill let you know how that theory pans out. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah but its more of cuisine then a restaurant. They serve food "Family Style" which translates into bringing out a bunch of food per order. They sit it on the table and everyone eats whatever. Its not your run of the mill Chinese, its classy, and very tasty. We get the Mongolian Beef, Lemon Peppered Shrimp, and Lettuce Wraps. YUM! They also have a "Fast Food" type of restaurant. Its technically not fast food but its way more laid back the Changs. Its a little cheaper and there isn't as much food but the flavor is just as good. If I can keep my wife happy by giving up one early weekend of hunting, then I gladly make the sacrafice. This year is Chicago or vising friends in the Twin Cities. Not quite sure yet.
