WIDeer4Life
Hey guys, this is my first year using Scent Lok and have a few questions. After washing it, what is the best way to dry it? It says to let it drip dry but wouldn't that allow it to absorb scent while its drying? Also, how often do you reactivate your carbon clothes in the dryer? Any information would be helpful, thanks in advance! Kyle
Switchback29A1
Re: Drying Carbon Clothes? idk about scent-lok..i'm sure it's the same as scent blocker. Hang it outside...i hang mine 24 hours. Then put it in the dryer on high heat for 30 minutes. It sais re-activate every 20 hours or something like that. Just make sure you store it in a scent bag, i just use a rubbermade box.
Guest kracey
Re: Drying Carbon Clothes? All my scent lok clothes say to dry in the dryer. I would dry them on the lowest setting you have until they are pretty much dry. ( This will reduce the risk of shrinking them). Then turn right around and dry them on the highest setting for 40-50 minutes to activate them. I activate mine all the time. They say activate as needed especially if you sweat a lot on a particular day. Also make sure you clean out the lint trap before you put them in there and DO NOT USE A DRYER SHEET or store them with Scent Wafers and be sure to use a scent free detergent too. and store in a scent proof container. AdvantageTimberLou
Re: Drying Carbon Clothes? I hand mine outside on a clothesline, just did it this past weekend. To activate the Carbon I put them in the dryer but straight out of the washer they get lined dried outside. Make sure you keep everything in a scent free container and/or scent free bag
