7th
I have been looking at the snippets from the horrer move "Open Season" and now Burger King is passing out with there Kids meals Toys for Open Season. I think as hunters: We need to send Burger King the message that we as hunter will not support this and not only stop eating there but we need to call the local Burger Kings and head office. Everything we can do will help...

wtnhunt
Re: Open Season, Burger King. Really dont know why so many hunters are so bothered by this cartoon movie and by the others that come up every year or so. There have been a couple good discussions on this subject in the political room. Really like I mentioned in the other room it is no different to the antis and non hunting community than watching Foxworthy poking fun at hunters. If we are going to be critical and scared this is going to have the potential for effecting our rights, we might need to look at others among us who poke fun at hunters for entertainment as well. AdvantageTimberLou
Re: Open Season, Burger King. I think if this is a cartoon it will have minimal impact on hunting if none at all. The reason issue is the WHA and making hunting a sport and making it a cash deal similiar to bassmasters. That WHA tournament is going to give us a bad name, not a cartoon movie!! Guest Dust
Re: Open Season, Burger King. I live 5 blocks from one and it is a last resort place for me. I have not seen what the cartoon is about or anything, but it wouldn't stop me from eating there.
Jeramie
Re: Open Season, Burger King. There is nothing wrong with standing up for hunting rights if that is how you feel convicted! Get off him gang. I dont totally disagree with him. My only $.02 is that i grew up watching movies like Bambi and I never had a bad vision of hunting. Infact ive been carrying dead animals since I was old enough to walk. My theory is let them run their weak message. In the meantime im taking me and mine out to shoot something.... SUGARKAHNE
Re: Open Season, Burger King. Haven't heard much about this movie, but hey, it's just a cartoon. When "Bambi" came out it didn't turn that generation of kids into hunter-hating PETA activists, so I don't really think this one will be too big of a deal. Not that it matters-I hate BK anyway. Shaun_300
Re: Open Season, Burger King. I don't think I've eaten at Burger King once in my life. So you won't have to worry about me eating there...
