carbonhunter
The Deer gun season closed here in ohio yesterday and that will just about bring an end to my season. Overall My hunting buddy and I put 17 deer on the ground. Before anyone goes up in arms most of them where tagged under a Crop Damage Tag. After doing all that deer im ready for a break. Steelhead season gets going full swing for me next weekend as im booked all weekend. Unless i get out for a little late season bow hunting im finished. Everyone have a wondeful and SAFE season. carbonhunter
Re: Well its over....kinda other than the buck i shot with my bow this year, it was all does. The b-d ratio is pretty crazy around two of the farms i hunt. we took 15 of those deer before gun season. opening morning of gun my buddy had 14 does feed past his stand and into the corn in the first hour. I think we could shoot does in there until the sun didnt shine no more and the doe would still be unfazed.
