Guest Racksnbeards
I bought my son a Rossi .243, I want to put a scope on it, but, I've lost the four screws that secure the base to the barrel, no local gunshmith, and the Rossi website wants to sell me the base and screws, I only need the screws, if anybody has some that will work, let me know. Thanks!
stevebeilgard
Re: Want to Buy i'll bet if you get ahold of the rossi site, with the "contact us" you can get just the screws. just tell them what happened.

johnf
Re: Want to Buy If all else fails you can get the rail with screws for around $10 at Wal-Mart.
Guest Racksnbeards
Re: Want to Buy steve, I tried Rossi, only sell package, not just screws. Gator, I asked the CS Rep, what size screws, I needed, he told me he didn't know the size just metric. John I may have to follow your advice, just hate to spend 10.00 on 4 screws. johnf
Re: Want to Buy I've got 4 screws that I think will fit. They came off a rail I got for one of my nef's. They fit in my daughters Rossi 22lr, hopefully they'll fit in yours. PM Me your address and I'll get them in the mail. No charge of course. Guest PixelDoctor
Re: Want to Buy Sorry to hijack this thread but I have a question... I won a Rossi 50 cal and was wondering what the input was on these rifles. Mine is wood single shot with the interchangable barrels... AJ
Re: Want to Buy [ QUOTE ] Gator, I asked the CS Rep, what size screws, I needed, he told me he didn't know the size just metric. [/ QUOTE ] The CS Rep knows nothing about guns. The standard sight screw is a 6-48 and occasoinally you will find an 8-40 and some new ones are 8-36. These are not metric just not the typical 6-32. You can get them from a variety of places like Brownells, Numrich , Midway and others.
