Hillbilly
I hear that saddles can produce some good buck activity. Can someone please describe one for me? Thank You!
Guest Mathews4
Re: What are saddles??? saddles or gaps are low places between two high points on a ridge. when u look at a hill or mountain follow the ridge until you see where it dips down then back up...it kinda looks like a saddle.....deer tend to travel them because they feel like they're hid better than they'd be if they crossed one of the high spots. hope this helps.... VTbowman
Re: What are saddles??? Most itmes a saddle is the easiest way threw the ridge line or to travel down hill from on top the ridge. One of those path of least resistance type areas... It does not take much for a dip in a ridge line to be considered a saddle.
