whitetailtrax Posted October 6, 2006 Report Share Posted October 6, 2006 We now have a pretty healthy population of mule deer living exclusively within the city limits and there are some real dandys wandering the streets. Unfortunately, the up coming rut will be the demise of several, as they get too aggressive towards humans and have to be killed by state wardens. [/ QUOTE ] Sadly, we have some wing-nuts that every year can't stand the temptation and end up sticking one of the big boys in the rump or something and they run around town with an arrow sticking out. Gives hunting a bad name for sure. These deer are as tame as it gets - I was standing not 15 yards from that big buck when I took the photo.
