Tony Posted October 7, 2006 Report Share Posted October 7, 2006 yep after trying to decide what to do about bow selection for this new stand. i chose my Hoyt Protec compound. theres just to good a chance to see a big buck here and i dont want to be caught with my recurve. so tonight this doe comes out and acts kind of snooty. she was doing the foot stomp, but im not sure why. unless she smelled me from when i hung the stand at 10:00 this morning. so she gives me a shot at 33 yards and i smoked her. she only went 40 yards. heres the pics... [image][/image] i got a complete passthrough with the low exit hole. it looked like someone had sprayed blood with a 5 gallon bucket. i owuld have liked to do this with my recurve, but im going to get a crack at a good buck in this spot. now that i have my freezer meat, its time to get serious.. Awesome....I applaud you for making a good choice and taking a bow with you that you were sure could get the job done right It's been a good day for quite a few people!!! I got to see some and passed on a shot(Yes...I get happy even about that) and my two friends ADKhunter and HaDeRonDa scored on good deer.
