SRTMO
I had a very nice 10 pointer come into my feeder this morning. All he would give me was a head on or quartering too shot with my bow. Well, I didn't take the shot, the feeder kicked on, and he split. Here's a video of him from yesterday off my trail cam. He never knew I was there today so, I should be able to get him another day. Does anyone that hunts over their feeder disconnect the battery before getting in their stand so something like this doesn't happen. I am guessing he would be between 110 and 120. What do you all think? http://s101.photobucket.com/albums/m77/srtmo/?action=view¤t=ICAM0006.flv

Guest Finn
Re: Almost had a big buck down this morning. Wow, that's a great buck and I agree, he'll be back. Sorry, we can't use feeders so not sure what I'd do.
HitRmisS
Re: Almost had a big buck down this morning. We use feeders but do not connect them, normally the deer don't show up until after they have already went off. In cases where they are there before hand its normally just does and they will scatter but come back within a few minutes
AdvantageTimberLou
Re: Almost had a big buck down this morning. don't hunt over a feeder but can you change the programmer times? Sorry about you not getting him, I am sure its not the first time he heard it go off. Just wait till rut, he'll not be as spooky, the does will get him acting crazy and brave!! SRTMO
Re: Almost had a big buck down this morning. The timer is preset to go off at sunrise and half an hour before sunset. Other than setting it to go off right at sunset, I can't adjust the times. I've got picks of him 2 days in a row going to the feeder, yesterday and today. I think I need to be there tomorrow morning.
