ladydiehard
You can read all the details in my most recent journal entry but to say the least, I backed out of there quickly. The buck I had taken a shot at had ducked the arrow slicker than a whistle so I went to retrieve it. The multiple beds and strong smell of deer urine hitting me in the face caused me to back out leaving my arrow behind. An arrow is a small price to pay in order to leave the area as undisturbed as possible. Cause I'll be back hoping to find deer slipping into this bedroom again! Leo
Re: I walked into a buck\'s bedroom last evening! Bucks almost never bed in the same spot twice in a row. They do however bed in the same area. My bet would be to find the nearest food and water source closest to the bedding area

Nearest water is a bit farther away and off my property but its enroute to the cornfield. Once the corn is cut, things will change considerably. I hope they leave it up another couple of weeks.
