This evenings hunt

I was able to get out this evening. Wind was blowing some but it was cold still wasnt sure on how well i would do with the wind. But when we pulled in and there was a doe standing in the woods beside us i knew it was going to be a good night. I got ready and was down in my stand by about 15 till 4. I sat for about 30 minutes didnt see any deer other than that one at the truck. I just caught movement up the holler from me and i see a doe pop out i watch her for a few minutes hoping she works her way down and around towards me but never did. 10 minutes later her comes another doe she looked alot younger than the other so im guesses that was her mom. After that i didnt have any action for about another 30 minutes. I was looking behind me and i heard somthing infront of me so i turn around and here comes a buck. He was about 70 yards away coming right up the creek towards me he had came right out of some sapplings. He walked another few yards and stopped and started rubbing on some trees i must say that was pretty cool to watch him rub them trees. I could tell he wasnt going to come towards me because he was starting to head across the creek so i grab my grunt and grunt once he comes to a dead stop and starts looking. I guess since he didnt see the source of the grunt he went ahead and crossed the creek. I hit it one more time stops once again looks then starts walking again. Then i watched him walk up the holler. After that i saw some does on and off the rest the evening. No shots.

Over all it was a great hunt.

Have fun and god bless.

Im going to try to.

Tomorrow will be the first morning i have been able to get out. I think ill be using a different stand that that buck walked right by last night. And other deer are traveling close enough for a shot on that stand.
