I picked up the reversible camo/blaze orange Hunter Safety System vest and some under armour long johns and my new broadheads for my hunting trip next week! Got to say, I love the vest but when I got it I was ready to send it back. It is a lot heavier than I imagined it would be, as I like to travel light. It seemed big also, but since I went with a size L/XL, I knew it was correct. Ken they are heavy and most of that weight comes from those seat belt style buckles but when you wear it if feels good and is so simple to put on. As for the size, you got the right one. I love mine and like the pockets on it for storing my cell phone and putting hand warmers in the pockets. Plus mine has the deer drag which will come in handy! Good luck on your trip Ken!! I tried my new HHS vest three weeks ago when I went to Smackdown and later that week when we had our northern ML opener. I too had reservations about the weight when I unpacked the vest but you will forget you are wearing it once you put it on. Good luck on your trip! Are you heading to your island hunt??
